How does CreativeX work within ShuttlerockCloud?
Through our partnership with CreativeX, Shuttlerock gives you two powerful ways to run unbiased quality reviews - helping your brand hit creative best practice every time.
Option 1: Creative Quality Scoring (CQS)
Your free, foundational preflight check.
Creative Quality Scoring (CQS) is built on six proven CreativeX criteria - the foundational principles of effective digital creative. Opt in, and you’ll automatically have these checks applied across your Shuttlerock projects.
The 6 checks are:
Aspect Ratio – is your format correct for the channel?
Brand Early – is branding visible within a set period of time?
Safe Zones – no text found outside of the defined safe zones?
Sound On – made with sound?
Supers Present – are key messages highlighted?
Optimal Length – short and sharp enough to keep attention?
This gives you a simple, always-on creative safeguard, without needing to lift a finger.
Option 2: CreativeX Full Integration
For brands with a CreativeX account.
For enterprise organizations with specific brand rulebooks, the full CreativeX integration is a game-changer. Link your existing CreativeX account or get in touch with CreativeX directly to set one up - Shuttlerock can seamlessly connect it.

Assets are pre-flighted automatically according to your brand’s custom criteria — no manual uploads.
Results appear directly inside ShuttlerockCloud for instant clarity and feedback.
You receive customized quality insights that align with your exact brand standards.
Built-in reporting enables seamless compliance confirmation and stakeholder sharing
Viewing your Results
CreativeX uses preconfigured rules to evaluate visual, audio, and text elements in your creative. These rules reflect the creative standards recommended by leading social platforms like Google, Meta, and TikTok.
All videos and statics uploaded to ShuttlerockCloud that qualify are automatically sent to CreativeX for assessment.
Once creative has been assessed, preflight results appear in the CreativeX tab. The type of scoring shown depends on the setup: customers with their own CreativeX integration will see results tailored to their brand criteria or other established trackers, while those using Shuttlerock’s free CQS service see scores against six core creative checks. Results typically take anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours to generate - hang tight, it’s worth the wait!
For accounts with the full integration, clicking the CreativeX Results link opens a detailed report in CreativeX, offering deeper insights into the creative quality score. This option is particularly helpful if you need to challenge a score directly in CreativeX.
