How to use the correct terms to prevent mistakes, delays, and confusion in your projects

Watch this video to familiarize yourself with the terminology used in ShuttlerockCloud projects.

Terminology:

SRC

An abbreviation of ShuttlerockCloud

Creative

Refers to the outputs that Shuttlerock creates.

Concept

A group of creative that has a common theme and objective.

Format

A platform agnostic term used to describe the requirements for the creative. It will always include a platform and a ratio.

Ratio

A specific size of a piece of creative.

Variation

A variation is when you make a small change to the creative, such as a copy modification, while keeping the overall storyline and visuals intact.

Assets

Any file provided as part of a project to be used in the production of Creative.

Brand Asset

The logo, guidelines, font and music files associated with your brand.

Copy

The text that will appear in your creatives.

Primary Copy

The first piece of copy to appear in the Creative.

Secondary Copy

The second piece of copy that supports your primary copy.

Tertiary Copy

Copy that provides more detail about your product or service.

Call to Action

A short, persuasive piece of copy that encourages the viewer to take a specific action, such as clicking a button, making a purchase, or signing up for something.

Hero (creative)

Every concept has a single Hero Creative that all other creatives in the concept will be derived.

In Progress

Your creatives are being worked on by our design teams.

Revision Requested

You have requested revisions on your creative by leaving revision comments.

Ready to Review

Your creatives are ready to be reviewed.

Project Complete

You have approved your creatives and your project is complete.
