A 'Target Audience' is a specific group of people that a marketing campaign or ad is designed to reach and engage. This group is defined by identifiable characteristics such as demographics, interests, and behaviors. Identifying the right target audience is crucial for the success of an advertising campaign because it ensures that the message resonates with the intended recipients, making the creative content more impactful.
Creating Predefined Target Audiences
ShuttlerockCloud users can create and save predefined target audiences that include specific demographics, interests, and behaviours. This process eliminates the need to manually input the same target audience information for every brief.
An audience can be created in two ways:
Users can either create their audiences in bulk through the brand profiles, and simply select when creating a brief.
Create a new audience while creating a brief.
All audiences live under brand (profile). If a client has multiple brands, they will have separate audiences for each brand.
Using Predefined Target Audiences in Briefs
Once a predefined target audience has been created, it can be easily applied to any new or existing brief at the ‘concept’ level. If a project has multiple concepts, each concept can have different audiences. All the audiences created at the brand level are accessible for each concept.
Setting a Default Target Audience
Users can also define a default target audience that will be automatically applied to all new briefs for their brand, ensureing a consistent target audience across campaigns.
This can be done while creating a new audience, or at any other time.
Updating or Deleting Target Audience
Users can go back and edit or delete their audience at any given time. When an audience is updated or deleted, draft certain projects that have this particular audience selected will be affected.
